The Akaneri Basket can add the finishing touch to any living space – we recommend using the small for jewelry or a great place to keep keys. The medium is the perfect addition for a centerpiece.
I love the qualify and style of these baskets. I do plan on purchasing more of them for my house. I’ve had several wonderful comments about the baskets. You can use them in any decor including southwest.
This was given to me as a gift and I love it. The smaller size is perfect to use to hold my jewelry at the end of the day. Exquisite craftsmanship and design details. Thank you for such a quality piece!

About the Artisans
The talented artisans that have handwoven over 4550 stitches into the Akaneri baskets take pride in their art. As a part of the Abizeranye Cooperative, they are able to earn a fair wage income that provides for the wellbeing of their families in the Rwandan countryside.
Claudine Uwiragiye pours passion into each stitch of your Akaneri basket as she hand weaves these works of art.
